![]() The hideous antisemitic graffiti with which the newly restored historic Synagogue of Trikala was desecrated, causes but deep sorrow and repugnance. It reminds us that the snake’s egg is still incubating within our society and that the struggle against antisemitism needs to be continuous and the vigilance relentless. We condemn this vile act and call upon the competent authorities to take all necessary measures for the arrest and punishment of the perpetrators, as well as for the protection of the Jewish sites in Trikala, a city that has proved to show zero tolerance to bigotry and racism.
