ANNOUNCEMENT for the SHOOTING in TOULOUSE Print E-mail
Tuesday, 20 March 2012 11:33

The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece expresses the Greek Jewry’s deep sorrow and devastation for the murder of four people, three of whom were children, after the shooting that took place outside the Jewish school Ozar Hatorah in Toulouse, France.
This cold-blooded murder of innocent pupils and their teacher proves that anti-Semitism leads to criminal actions without any limit. All European countries, including Greece, are obliged to protect the values of Democracy and  secure the life of their citizens regardless of race, religion or sex. The new generation should learn that racism, fanaticism, intolerance and anti-Semitism lead to hideous crimes against human lives and insult our civilization.

The Greek Jewry expresses its condolences to the families of the victims and also to the French Jewry.
