The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece expresses the Greek Jewry’s repudiation and outrage for the latest inhuman, bloody and murderous attack burst out by Palestinian terrorists on November 18, against worshipers while praying in the Kehillat BneiTorah Synagogue, in Har Nof district, in Western Jerusalem. This terrorist attack with guns, meat cleavers and axes, resulted into a bloodbath which left behind five dead and 12 wounded.
We share the grief and participate in the mourning of the families of the victims and the people of Israel.

It is only by building bridges on the sacred principle of the value of life that logic will prevail in order to continue the peace process in the suffering Middle East region.
We join our voice with the world Jewry in stressing that: “Houses of worship anywhere in the world must be sacrosanct. Whoever attacks peaceful worshipers in a synagogue, a mosque or a church is nothing but a despicable criminal.”
