ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE STABBING OF A JEWISH MAN IN MILAN Print E-mail
Friday, 13 November 2015 14:39

The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece expresses the Greek Jewry’s repudiation and strongly condemns the violent attack with a knife against a Jewish man in Milan. The attack was held yesterday outside the city’s kosher restaurant, in a Jewish neighborhood where the Jewish school is nearby located.

According to the announcement of the Jewish Community of Milan the victim, Nathan Graff, was stabbed 10 times in the face and his back. The Authorities have begun investigations for arresting the perpetrator.

The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece once again unequivocally points out the danger and the tragic consequences that derive from the dissemination of racial hatred. Rampant violence, in the new form of terror attacks, named as “the terrorism of the knives”, seems that starts to spread and afflict Europe, as manifested in yesterday’s attack in Milan and on other occasions.

European countries by all means must cooperate effectively in order to secure life and safety of their citizens, as well as protect the values of Democracy.
