THE GREEK JEWRY JOINS FRANCE IN MOURNING – KIS ANNOUNCEMENT ON DEADLY TERROR ATTACKS IN PARIS Print E-mail
Monday, 16 November 2015 12:54

“The Greek Jewry is horrified and shocked by the barbaric deadly terror attacks in Paris and all heartedly joins the French people and the whole world in mourning for the tragic loss of so many innocent lives. There are no words fit to describe the magnitude of evil, the hatred and the horror of such brutality.

These monstrous Jihadist attacks –on carefully selected targets so as to create a majority of young victims- aimed not only at the very heart of western civilization but at its future as well. They targeted and hit the core values of Humanism and Democracy, all principles we stand for and have struggled for. Extremist Islamic terror must be dealt with drastic measures immediately and eminently.

All people must stand united in defending our society of freedom and peaceful living and determined in combating violence and Islamic terror”, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece refers in a letter of solidarity addressed to the French ambassador to Greece in which it also conveys the deepest condolences of the Greek to the families of the victims.
