NEW TERRORIST ATTACK IN LONDON Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 June 2017 12:11
The terrorist attack that occurred on Saturday night, June 3, 2017, on the London Bridge and in the Borough Market, just a few days before the important national elections in Great Britain, and only a few days after the deadly Manchester Arena bombing, is the third terrorist attack in Great Britain within three months. Seven people have been killed and at least 48 injured in this new terror incident.

The Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece expresses, first of all, its unwavering support to the British people and the warmest condolences of the Greek Jewry to the families of the victims.

In the same time we express our profound concern about the increase of terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Islamic State (ISIS) which has also claimed responsibility for this new double attack in London.

Within a few months, several deadly and atrocious terror attacks have struck Great Britain -a country that has adopted the multicultural agenda more than any other European country. Europe should be awaken and mobilized, join its forces against terrorism, rethink its counter-terrorism strategy, while remaining faithful to the principles and ideals of enlightenment and European democracy.
